Do I need to follow the workshops in a specific order?

Yes. Each career path has a recommended order of workshops that build on one another. Skipping ahead without completing the earlier ones can leave major gaps in your knowledge.

Which workshop is the most important to start with?

The Linux Admin workshop is the foundation for all tracks. Whether you’re aiming for Splunk, Python, Bash, or Ansible, this workshop ensures you have the core system knowledge to succeed.

Can I jump straight into Splunk or Python without Linux?

If you already have strong Linux skills, you may be able to. But if you’re brand new to IT or cybersecurity, we strongly recommend starting with Linux Admin first. It sets the stage for everything that follows.

What happens if I skip a step in the path?

You may find yourself struggling later on. For example, many Splunk, Bash, or Ansible tasks require Linux fundamentals. That’s why our workshops are designed as a sequence—you’ll get the most out of them if you follow the full track.

How do I know which path is right for me?

It depends on your goals. If you want to master Splunk, follow the Splunk Mastery Track. If automation excites you, pick Python, Bash, or Ansible automation. But no matter what, begin with Linux Admin to unlock all paths.
